How do I turn the device on?

First make sure the tablet is charged, then locate the power button, on most devices the power button will be on the edge, it will be a smaller button located next to two buttons or one larger button, press and hold the power button until the tablet turns on. It may take up to 30 seconds before you see the start-up screen.

If you are seeing a percentage number in the centre of your tablet's display this means that it has registered that you have pressed the button, but it has not been pressed long enough for the tablet to urn on. The number is showing you how much percent the battery is charged, but it will not turn on unless you press the button again. Try again, holding the button down for longer this time. Also, make sure that you are pressing the on/off button and are not accidentally pressing one of the volume buttons.
